OUR HISTORY
In July 1966 West Georgia Farmers' Cooperative was founded. The mission, values and vision represent the cooperative's true work in the community and across West Georgia. Our nearly 60-year-old agricultural co-op has traditionally consisted of local black farmers. Now it includes consumers and other community members. Cooperatively, we work together to build opportunities through local food systems and wealth through cooperative economics.

What is WGFC?
For nearly 60 years, we have been feeding the communities around us. We are a group of local producers coming together for a great cause; the people. By joining, you gain exposure for your business and become apart of the opportunities for local communities. Together we are community strong.
